I am happy to be participating in a 3 person show at the Open Arts Gallery at Rembrandt Yard in Boulder. Rembrandt Yard is located at 1301 Spruce Street, across the Street from the Hotel Boulderado. The exhibit features the beautiful photography of Cal Whitehall and colorful paintings by Pam Simich and myself. It runs though March 4. The Opening Reception is scheduled for this Thursday, January 12, 2012, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
In February, I will also be showing pastel and mixed media paintings at the North Boulder Recreation Center, 3170 Broadway, phone 303-413-7260.

In January 2011 I started 2 regular painting blogs, www.astridpaints.blogspot.com, and www.dailypaintersofcolorado.blogspot.com. I love painting on a daily basis and sharing this experience with fellow artists, students, and friends. I find talking and writing about my art a challenge, since I'd rather paint than write, but it has been a great experience!
Please check back often, as my own blog, www.astridpaints.blogspot.com, will undergo some changes and I am adding some addiltional features, such as step by step demonstrations.
